Imberhorne School Equestrian Team

On Saturday the team competed at Hickstead in the NSEA Eventers Challenge 2022
Imberhorne came 19th out of 33 school teams from around the country.
Supported by Mr Langstone, family and friends, Abbie and Micky went clear, Libby had a pole off and Harley had an unfortunate fall. It was a huge class and everyone should be very proud to get to a National Champs. 👏🏼👏🏼

It was a busy weekend for some of our members and the sun was shining. Darcy and Libby competed in the Golden Cross Equestrian Centre Eventers challenge on Saturday. Unfortunately Darcy had a fall at fence 9 having done so well. She’s ok and got back on. Libby was placed 6th.
On Sunday Libby and Micky went to Coombelands Equestrian Show Jumping. After some poles down in the 70cm both went clear in the 80cm and took 7th and 5th places. Well done to all the girls. ☀️

Today Abbie, Micky and Libby competed for Imberhorne in the Eventers Challenge at Felbridge.
They all had amazing clear rounds and the team came 2nd with Abbie taking 2nd place individually and Micky 4th.
They received some lovely rosettes and horse brushes for their achievements and have also qualified for the Eventers Challenge Final at Hickstead in May. Well done girls 👏🏼

After a very early start this morning to get to Golden Cross for some Arena Eventing it ended up being a wash out, as all classes were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions! The weather was so bad jumps were blowing over so the team made the most of it before heading home by having a quick practice in the indoor arena. 💨🌧
