Huge well done to Grayson who has started his journey with Sunderland academy! Grayson has been coming weekly for a mix of 1:1, group sessions. Over the last few months Gray has improved loads on the ball, consistently working on ball mastery work in sessions, learning and applying new skills to use in games. With the way the game is now, we’ve found it really important to help all our goalkeepers who attend our sessions to be confident on the ball with both feet and play with no fear.

Grayson was a huge part of our last 2 successful tournaments. Playing our style of football, playing out from the back, expressing yourself on the ball. As well as loads of clean sheets. Won’t find many keepers with the confidence to run up the full pitch, taking players out the game with Maradonas, then playing a line breaking pass 💪

Nathaniel making the next step up training with the academy for Sunderland tonight.

Nathaniel has been training with us for the last 3 months now, and his improvement on the ball has been outstanding. Always needs to be tested, his ability to take on board information and apply them is brilliant considering his age. Nathaniel is a regular feature on this page, due to the standard he sets in sessions, manipulating the ball at a standard beyond his years.

Future is very bright ⭐️

Unbeaten tournament winners for the lads today 🏆

Top work rate from all. We had a slow start, but the lads recovered quickly. Always making good decisions on the ball, linking up across the pitch and using the width and space to our advantage. As well as playing with no fear, creativity on the ball and good use of disguise to create space for us to exploit and cause problems ⚡️

Freddie Smith makes the next step up👏

Huge well done to Freddie, who has signed a pre contract with Sunderland ✍️. Freddie has worked very hard over the last nine months in his sessions on the ball. Always training with intensity, wanting to be the best, and constantly pushes for more. Freddie is a top player as well as a top trainer, always trying to take his skills into games and playing with no fear!

Looking forward to seeing what Freddie can achieve in the game. Keep up the hard work, mate! 🔴⚪️
