GROUND IMPROVEMENTS CONTINUE 💪🔴⚪

Another productive week at the Welfare Ground as we continue improving the home of Brandon United.

✅ Ground tidied up
✅ Ball stop nets put back up
✅ Litter picked up and removed
✅ Tea hut cleaned out ready for the season

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help, with a special mention to Michael T, Aaron and Jacqui for all their hard work and commitment.

The progress being made is only possible because of the fantastic volunteers who continue to support the club. Every job, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference.

Ground Improvements Continue at The Welfare Ground 🌱⚒️

The hard work continues around the ground as our volunteers continue to transform the surroundings at Brandon United.

Over the last few days we’ve:

* Strimmed and cut back the overgrown banks.
* Cleared around the perimeter fencing.
* Tidied spectator areas.
* Improved the overall appearance of the ground ahead of the new season.

There’s still plenty to do, but every job completed takes us one step closer to creating a ground that everyone at Brandon United can be proud of.

A huge thank you to everyone giving up their time to help.

Volunteer effort is what keeps grassroots football moving forward. 💪🔴⚪

🔴⚪ PRE-SEASON CONTINUES | BRANDON UNITED WIN 🔴⚪

Another productive night of pre-season action for Brandon United as we ran out 5–1 winners at The Welfare Ground.

There were plenty of positives to take from the game. The lads worked hard, created a number of good chances and produced some encouraging individual and team performances throughout the 90 minutes.

As expected with several new faces in the squad, there’s still plenty to work on. We need to take more of the chances we create and continue building the understanding and cohesion within the group. That’s exactly what pre-season is for and every game is another step forward.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to support the lads. We appreciate your backing and look forward to seeing you at the next game.

🔴 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT | CALVIN PAYNE

Brandon United are delighted to welcome Calvin Payne back to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

An experienced winger with both Northern League and Wearside League experience, Calvin returns with plenty of quality and know-how. Lightning quick, direct and always looking to take on defenders, he brings genuine pace and excitement in the final third.

We’re thrilled to have Calvin back in a Brandon United shirt and can’t wait to see him entertaining The Welfare Ground once again.

🔴⚪ NEW SIGNING | REECE McEWAN

Brandon United are delighted to announce the signing of Reece McEwan ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Reece is a creative midfielder with an exceptional eye for goal. After scoring an outstanding 42 goals from midfield last season, he arrives at The Welfare Ground with a proven ability to create chances and find the back of the net.

His creativity, attacking quality and goalscoring threat will be a huge asset to the squad, and we’re excited to see what he can produce in a Brandon United shirt.

🔴 NEW SIGNING | JUNIOR MASANDI

Brandon United are delighted to announce the signing of Junior Masandi ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Junior is an experienced forward who brings a wealth of experience from both the Northern League and the Wearside League. His quality, know-how and attacking presence will add valuable depth and competition to our squad as we prepare for the season ahead.

We’re excited to welcome Junior to The Welfare Ground and look forward to seeing him in a Brandon United shirt.

Brandon United are delighted to welcome Peter Jason to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Peter is a powerful, direct forward who brings pace, strength and a real attacking threat in the final third. His performances have already attracted interest from clubs in the Northern League Division One, so we’re delighted that he’ll be wearing the red of Brandon United this season.

We’re excited to see what Peter can bring to the squad and can’t wait to see him in action at The Welfare Ground.

The wait is almost over as Brandon United return to action for the first time ahead of the 2026/27 season.

We welcome Darlington U23s to The Welfare Ground this Saturday for what promises to be a great test as preparations continue for the new campaign.

It’s the first opportunity to see a new-look Brandon in action, with several new signings, returning faces and plenty of competition for places as we build towards the season ahead.
