Loved creating this campaign with Charlotte, in one of the most beautiful parts of the country 🏔️

Charlotte is a Lake District-based mountain and ultra runner balancing the study of law, with a passion for endurance sport. Following a comeback from a torn hamstring and achilles tendon, she returned to racing this year with a fourth-place female finish at the OMM 24-Hour event in Grasmere. She is now preparing for UTMB Oman, taking on 50 km and 2,800 m of ascent in the technical Hajar Mountains, with ambitions of racing UTMB CCC and completing a Bob Graham Round in the near future.

A few frames from some street-style athlete portrait work with .nz

An ultra runner and university student from the North, journey into long-distance running began just a year ago with her first 50km at Scotland. Since then, the distances have only grown. Her mindset is simple: the longer, the better. 🏃‍♀️

Now focusing mainly on 100km ultras, she’s working towards the Ultra X Grand Slam - with 110km in Wales next on the list.

A real pleasure to capture a few moments from her preparation through to performance.
