CONGRATULATIONS, JACK RICHARDSON!

A huge congratulations to Jack Richardson of Durham City Golf Club on being winning the Gerry Johnson Award.

The award is presented to the Durham player who records the best 36-hole score in the Northern Counties Men's Qualifying Championship — the Big Six.

Jack thoroughly deserved the accolade, producing the best 36-hole performance of any player across the entire championship. His outstanding scoring saw him finish with the lowest aggregate score and earn his name on an award which pays tribute to the late Gerry Johnson, a hugely respected figure in Durham County Golf.

A fantastic achievement, Jack, and recognition of an excellent performance in one of the Northern Counties' premier events.

Durham County Golf Union President Bernie Munroe was on hand to present Jack with the trophy.

Well played, Jack — a thoroughly deserved honour!

Tomorrow promises to be a fantastic day of match play golf at Billingham Golf Club, with not one, not two, but three finals taking place!

⛳ **Clark Cup Final – 1.00pm**
🏌️ Bishop Auckland Golf Club v Durham City Golf Club

The Clark Cup final gets the day underway at 1pm, with two of County Durham’s leading clubs going head-to-head for the title.

Following the main final comes the:

🏆 **Junior Clark Cup Final**
🏌️ Chester le Street Golf Club v Tyneside Golf Club

And, alongside the two Clark Cup finals, Billingham will also host the:

🏆 **Junior Foursomes Championship Final**
🏌️ Beamish Park Golf Club v Blackwell Grange Golf Club

It’s set to be a superb day of competitive county golf, with some of the best young and senior players in the area battling it out for silverware.
