🚨WHAT DO WE ASSESS AT DCA TRYOUT?🚨

We know tryouts can feel a little nerve-racking, but remember… we’re looking at the whole athlete, not just one skill!✨

During tryouts, our coaches will be assessing:
✨Stunting
✨Tumbling
✨Jumps
✨Dance
✨Formations & transitions
✨Flexibility

Most importantly, we’re looking for athletes who are:
❤️Positive
❤️Coachable
❤️Hardworking
❤️Eager to learn and improve

Never done cheer before? That’s absolutely okay!

✨You dont need experience to join DCA! We welcome beginners as well as experienced athletes, and our coaches are here to help you develop your skills throughout the season.

Every athlete starts somewhere, and your attitude, effort and willingness to learn are just as important as your current ability! ❤️

📣DCA TRYOUTS ARE ALMOST HERE!📣

We’ve had lots of questions about which day athletes should attend, so here’s a quick guide! 👇

✨Monday 13th July- ages 8 and under
✨Tuesday 14th July- ages 12 and under
✨Wednesday 15th July- ages 12+

⏱️All tryouts run from 5:00pm - 7:30pm.

Please note that while tryouts are scheduled until 7:30pm, some groups may finish a little earlier, so we’d ask parents/carers to be available for collection from 7:00pm onwards!

Weather you’re completely new to cheerleading or have years of experience, we can’t wait to meet you and help find the perfect team for you! ❤️

Brand new All-Around sessions starting September!

These sessions will feature a different gymnastics discipline each week, giving children an opportunity to experience a vast range of skills.

If your child is not sure which type of gymnastics they would like best, this is the class for them!
