Monthly Rundown -
July / August 2026

Over the last month the lads have had some amazing pre season friendlies playing teams from all over the north east...

First of all we played Consett Blues - team who were in our div last season and we had some great games against them and it carried into our pre season game - the lads came out on top but it was a hard game all round. 11 goals scored in the game with us just getting the win in the dying minutes.
Final score 6-4.

Then came along div 10 Bearpark where we travelled to Ushaw College. The lads were absolutely fantastic throughout the game... Down to the bare bones but we stuck it out to the end but unfortunately we were beaten 4-2. The result didn't sum up the game we were by far the better side for 99% of the time... Some horrendous reffing decisions but that's grassroots we move on.

Finally this evening we played Seaham who are in our div this season. We brought our new focus to the team with new positions and tactics and what a game it turned out to be. Final score 8-0 to the lads worked their socks off against a defensively strong Seaham side who grafted to the end.

Immensely proud of the lads and how they playing this season... Amazing things to come

Well that's deffo a wrap of being U11 Blacks 25/26 season...
Last night the club had their annual football presentation and what an amazing night it was for all involved.
Blood (literally),sweat and tears went in to making the night the best we could for the whole club.

Well done to all of our Blacks players last night celebrating a up and down 25/26 season.
Can't wait to get started on 26/27 season as u12s. Massive shout out to the parents aswell with yous it's impossible to have a team 💙

Today we say goodbye and good luck to one of the young lads on the team... Isaac has been with us for 15 month now and in that time he hasnt half put a shift in... From us all at Coxhoe Blacks we want to wish him the very best for the future with his new team... Keep your head up, keep focused and enjoy it mate hopefully out paths cross in the future

Well today the lads faced their first tournament of the 26/27 season as under 12s.

The tournament was hosted by Jarrow Youth FC and split into 2 groups (group A & Group B).

We were in group B along with Hebburn Town, Amble, Clegwell & Ashington and the lads absolutely smashed it.

This meant the lads won our group tournament and went on to play the winners of Group A in the final. Unfortunately the lads were beaten in the final but what an absolutely outstanding day of football it's been.
New burst of energy, new style of play and to say I'm proud of the lads is an understatement they were simply amazing what a start to the 26/27 campaign...

We start our u12 campaign off with a tournament this weekend with a mixed variety of teams 🔵⚫🔵⚫🔵⚫
