* 5K Tail Walker: Sarah (Club Member)
They’ll see you on the start line 🏁

What a way to kickstart our 10th Anniversary celebrations 🎉
This morning, we were joined by the amazing Paula Radcliffe & .2 who led a Paula’s Run Club Shakeout Run around the beautiful, historic streets of Durham. Bright and early, runners flocked to Radisson Blu Durham to run with the podcast hosts, where post-run we tucked into breakfast pastries and refreshments, courtesy of Radisson Blu 🥐
Thank you to all that joined us 🏃
Next up — we’re off to Gala Durham for the film screening of Paula Radcliffe: Chasing Stars followed by a live podcast recording with Durham City Runs Race Director, Steve Cram 📽️

Does the course go on any public roads with traffic?
Yes the course does take you along public roads, but they will all be closed/segregated to traffic for the duration of the race.
How will I know which way to go?
There will be course signage and marshals at all key junctions to ensure you don’t get lost.
Will there be any other activities available?

Will there be any refreshments?

What happens if it rains?
Some of the most successful events have happened in the rain. Our events will only be cancelled if there are severe weather conditions. Make sure you are suitably dressed for the event.
