A huge thank you to Colin Bone and the Seniors Section from Stocksfield Golf Club for visiting us recently for 'The Brandy Glass' outing.

We are incredibly proud of the entire team, from our greenkeepers keeping the course in top-notch condition to our hard-working catering and clubhouse staff who ensure every visitor gets fantastic hospitality.

It takes a real team effort behind the scenes to deliver great days like this.

Our Men's Captain, Neil Tiplady, is taking on the Scafell Pike Sunrise Challenge on 11 October 2026 to raise funds for St Cuthbert's Hospice. This personal trek is a significant undertaking, and Neil would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer to help him reach his fundraising goal for this wonderful cause.

St Cuthbert's Hospice provides specialist care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life, and those who are bereaved. This care is offered entirely free of charge, so that everyone can access the support they need when they need it most.

Every year, it costs more than £2 million to keep the Hospice running. Your donation can help make a real difference: £650 pays for the full costs of 1 day of care in our Living Well Centre, £1,568 pays for 1 day of care in our In-Patient Unit, and £2,405 pays for 1 whole day of running costs for the Hospice.

Neil has set a fundraising target of £1,000, and every contribution will help him move closer to that goal while supporting people across County Durham who rely on this special care. Please donate if you can, share his page, and help him raise both vital funds and awareness for St Cuthbert's Hospice. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for local people and their families when it matters most.
