Coaches round-up.
Firstly I’d just like to say how immensely proud I was to see our under 8’s vipers out there representing Annfield plain Youths. To think that before the summer started this whole club was just an idea on paper it is incredible to see kids on the pitch sporting the claret and blue of annfield.
We battled hard and ran our socks off against a very good whickham magpies team who got the lead in the game with a series of quick fire goals.
All 10 players showed hunger and they never gave up, scoring 3 great goals. Special shout out to our goalkeeper on scoring a long range effort from his own box!
The end result didn’t go our way yet the vipers left the pitch in good spirits and happy about being able to play, which is what this great game is all about. Back to training this week to work on the lessons learned this weekend as we look forward to the next game.
Onwards and upwards. Up the vipers 🐍
