Season 26/27 kicks off this coming Saturday at home to Nunthorpe 10.30 KO @ Active life centre

For having only 11 players I have full confidence in the girls, I’m sure they’ll take on every challenge giving 100%.

‼️Still in desperate need for some players, new to the game or experienced‼️

Since losing two captains last season we’ve had a reshuffling of the bands, I have selected Grace Herron and Lily Bain to be the leaders in this squad, to be my voice out there on the field and to help encourage. Both grace and Lily have shown certain characteristics that I like in my captains and I’m positive that they’ll thrive in the role.

After losing another two players we are still wafer thin with only a squad of 12.

We are desperate for a couple more players.

So so so proud of my team today, in this heat it made it such a difficult day for it but to get all the way to the final and ultimately getting beat on penalties is such a cruel feeling in the end, especially when we had the game winning penalty and missed due to a fantastic save from the Belmont keeper.

The semi final win goes down as my greatest achievement, a turn around victory after beating the team who just edged us in the group gave me a sense of pride in the girls I’ve truly never ever felt.

I don’t do this to win things, I do this to give them girls something to look back on and be proud they were apart of a team that never gives up.

Thank you girls from the bottom of my heart, you all made me incredibly proud to be your coach.
