During the heat wave there’s only so many steps as owners we can take to ensure there safety in the heat, I think people think it’s as simple as pulling 4 grand out your back pocket and insisting a shelter for shade goes up that day (if only planning would allow such things) and taking time off work to stand with the hose on there back (if only they would stand still ehh?)

Behind the scenes a lot goes into keeping them as comfortable as possible, and most of the time the animal looks at you like your stupid 🤣

But on that note we set up a paddling pool for the alpacas and it was extremely satisfying to watch them actually enjoy the effort put into keeping them cool!
