Can we appeal to all of our customers. In this heatwave can everyone take care in handling the fish. Can we make sure the fish are returned as quickly as possible. If all fish can be handled in the wet net and not held with dry hands and if you have to take a picture, please, please do not lift them up to chest height as if they are dropped they normally go belly up within 24 hours. This has@ happened this week with a beautiful 13lb carp been dropped and has unfortunately died. Can we make sure if fish are handled whilst taking a pic that you keep it as low as possible while kneeling on floor, plus they should be over a carp mat. Every fish killed takes a long time for the smaller stockies to grow to replace for your sport.

Leigh sent a message - Was literally bringing my rod in and this was a blanksaver off kingfisher tonight, my daughter was pleased we eventually got a carp, lovely looking fish, can really see this place comes to life late on which is a shame but lovely fishery, challenging but always in with a shout of getting a double figure good looking fish
