One photo can make it look like someone has it all figured out.

The truth?

They don't.

Emily is 54, she's dropped an incredible 22kg over the last year, built a physique she's proud of and is stronger than ever.

But those photos don't show the years before that.

The times the weight crept back on.

The weeks where nutrition wasn't where she wanted it to be.

The moments where life got in the way.

Just like everyone else.

The difference?

She never gave up.

She kept showing up.

She kept training.

She kept investing in herself.

Eventually... everything clicked.

That's the secret.

Not motivation.

Not a magic diet.

Not a six-week challenge.

Just consistency over time.

If you've been waiting until life calms down...

Until you're more motivated...

Until Monday...

Until you lose a bit of weight before joining...

Stop waiting.

There will always be something.

At Barbell Club we don't expect perfection.

We expect you to be human.

You'll have bad days.

Emily always says her goal is to be the naughtiest nana in the nursing home... and knowing her, she'll absolutely smash that goal. 😂❤️

40lb down post partum 🤯

This isn’t just another transformation.

It completely changes the narrative.

A couple of years ago, Natasha completed her first shred with us and she absolutely smashed it achieving incredible results.

Then life changed.

She became a mam.

She trained throughout her pregnancy.

Recovered from a C-section.

Adjusted to sleepless nights.

Adapted to an entirely new routine and a whole new set of priorities.

For Natasha, getting back to where she’d worked so hard to reach before becoming pregnant became a personal goal.

There was never any rush.

No unrealistic expectations.

No pressure.

Just patience, consistency and always putting her health and recovery first.

She kept showing up, did what she could when she could, and slowly rebuilt herself over the winter before joining the shred again in January.

Today, less than a year post-partum, she’s almost back to the weight she achieved for her original photoshoot.

That isn’t luck.

It isn’t genetics.

It isn’t because she had more time than everyone else.

It’s the result of hundreds of small decisions, made consistently over many months.

We're incredibly proud of everything Natasha has achieved, not because of the number on the scales, but because of the resilience, patience and determination she’s shown throughout the entire journey.

Every mam’s journey is different, and every timeline is different.

Natasha’s story is simply proof that, if returning to your fitness is something you want to do, becoming a mam doesn’t mean that chapter has to be over.

It might look different.

It might take longer.

But it’s still possible. ❤️💪🏻

🔥 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – JOHN 🔥

The 6am Durham legend... the main man John!

50 years young and looking better than ever.

Since joining, John has:

✅ Dropped 15kg
✅ Dramatically increased his strength
✅ Built incredible consistency
✅ Improved his mindset and energy levels

But here's the interesting part...

John nearly never started.

Like so many people, he sat on the fence for months. In fact, he actually booked a call with us around 6-9 months before joining... and never answered it.

Nerves kicked in.

Doubts crept in.

He wasn't sure if it was the right time.

Sound familiar?

Fast forward to today and John says exactly what most members say...

"I wish I'd started sooner."

What has made the difference isn't some magic workout or crazy diet.

It's the structure.

John is incredibly busy, but having a simple programme to follow, constant guidance, accountability and support has allowed him to show up week after week after week.

Four sessions per week.

Every single week.

No guessing.

No overthinking.

No starting and stopping.

Just consistency.

He's found a place where he knows exactly what he needs to do, can switch off from the stress of daily life, train with great people and leave feeling better than when he arrived.

Getting his daily steps in has also been a game changer, helping clear his head, improve his fitness and create habits that now feel effortless.

The biggest lesson from John's journey?

The thing you're worried about today is often the very thing you'll look back on and laugh about in six months' time.
