We make the 252 mile round trip to our friends at Windscale AFC. Our home fixture was only a couple of weeks ago so both sides know what to expect and should be a cracking game!

This weekend a few of our youth teams have had their first games of the season, here is a quick catch up of how they did! Well done everyone... Some results aren't allowed to be shared on social media
Shotton Colliery Girls U10s v Dunston UTF FC Juniors
The girls started off going a goal down not long after kick off but their heads didn't drop they battled and Ronnie took a knock in the first half where the ref gave a free kick just outside the box. Lillie stepped up to take it and found the back of the net bringing the game back to a draw.
Second half the opposition were quick finding space and scoring a couple of quick goals.

Shotton Colliery U12 v Sunderland Womens Academy
The lads came up against a great team today & not the yakkas greatest day.
There isn’t a great deal to say in terms of the game other than that.
Man of the match went to Lev today🏆

Shotton Colliery Youth Under 14’s 9-1 Springwell Village
Yakka’s were up for it from the off and pressed the oppostion hard & saw the Yakkas go in 5 nil up!
Second half the lads never dropped off & kept the same attitude running out 9-1 winners!!

Nunthorpe 4-11 Shotton Colliery U14s TJFA
It didn’t take the lads long to score the first goal of the season coming within a minute, we doubled that lead shortly after but we brought back to 2-2 after we switched off for 10 minutes but the lads responded well and looked dangerous on every attack, half time going in at 6-3.
Second half started the same way with a goal in the first minute and we pushed on from there finishing the game 11-4
