EGM Update:

Two Promatic engineers are due to visit the club on Monday 23 February to work on our traps.

We have acquired an alternative carousel for the big trap to see if we can fit it in the traphouse without any reconstructing.

Our last shoot saw 6 members shooting, 1 came for the craic and we had 2 visitors who had a wee try and are desperate to come back!

Good news all round. 😁

Dunoon & District Clay Target Club EGM

Following a well attended extraordinary general meeting held at the club on Sunday 11th January 2026, the members have taken the decision to withdraw from running Competition Shoots with immediate effect.

This decision will be subject to review at the end of this year.

A revised shooting calendar for members is shown below. As always, visitors are very welcome to attend.

A wee reminder to all that our John Jacobsen shoot scheduled for 2nd January 2026 has been cancelled due to ongoing trap issues.

Cairndow Clay Target Club will be running a shoot that day to use the date.

Due to our ongoing trap problems, we have cancelled the John Jacobsen shoot scheduled for 2nd January 2026.

We are sorry to disappoint however, Cairndow Clay Target Club are proposing to run a shoot that day to use the date.

A great day out awaits at Bute Clay Target Club’s ‘Turkey Shoot’ tomorrow- Saturday 22nd November.

We have our Turkey shoot this Saturday 22nd of November from 11am . 50dtl and a pull trap as well as hot food and drinks. Hope to see you all there.
