News | Innovation is helping businesses across Northern Ireland grow!
160 micro and SME businesses are planning to invest £3.6 million in innovation thanks to our Business Innovation Grant (BIG). 💡
Since launching in November 2024, BIG has helped businesses develop new products, services and processes, boosting productivity and supporting growth ambitions.
One company benefiting is Equipple, whose funding helped commercialise its parent-teacher engagement platform and secure its first sales in England and the UAE. 📈
Applications for the next cohort are now open until 12 noon on 4 September.

The Public Health Agency has provided mid ulster Age Friendly with a supply of hard copies of the Ageing Well – A 10 Minute Guide, which offers practical information and advice to help people over 50 stay healthy, active, connected and independent.

Happy Independence Day but there are many more happy Anniversaries today! 250 years of the founding of the USA, 50 years of The Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh and 25 years of the Centre for Migration Studies at the Folk Park. Not to mention the fact that our office is based at the ancestral site of one of the greatest American Presidents, U S Grant, one of scores of Presidents with strong links to Ireland north and south ✅
