We urge all certificate holders in Northern Ireland to respond to the consultation which closes at 5pm on 29 May.

As BASC NI highlighted last week, the Department of Justice have now published their consultation on proposed amendments to Fi****ms Licensing fees and the Banded System - https://www.justice-ni.gov.uk/consultations/consultation-proposed-amendments-firearms-licensing-fees-and-banded-system.

BASC will take the time to consider the consultation in full. We will also discuss the consultation with partner organisations before responding.

We will issue advice and guidance to members in due course on how best to respond to the consultation. In the meantime, we encourage members NOT TO RESPOND at this point in time.
