It was fantastic to see such a field of Lightning Rods on Saturday night at Tullyroan Oval, with the 25 cars on the grid really putting on a show.

It was also the final round of the 2025/26 NI Points Championship, with 902 Nigel Jackson sealing the win for his sixth NI Points title in seven seasons. Nigel finished ahead of Conor Doherty and Mark McBurney in the final standings.

Well done Nigel, and the formula now head into what should be a fantastic World Cup at our September Speedweekend at Tullyroan Oval.

Congratulations to 54 Joey Henderson who won today’s Ninja Karts final down at Tipperary Raceway.

931 Jaxon Cairns was second and 318 Harry Hoy third for a DMC top three! Well done boys!

During last night's National Hot Rods Final at Tullyroan Oval, 914 Allen Cherry was involved in a sickening crash when a spinning car inadvertently turned him into the Turn 4 wall.

Allen was knocked out for a time, but following some time in hospital we are pleased to say he is now back home resting and under orders to take things easy for a few days.

A huge thanks to all the DMC Track Staff and the St John's Ambulance crew who dealt with the developing situation superbly and professionally, and carried out what was a very difficult extraction given how the car was wedged tight against the wall on the drivers side.

Many thanks too to all the other teams who stepped in to help load up the two cars from Team Cherry and transport them back home.

We would like to extend our best wishes to Allen for a full recovery, and we hope to see him back on track soon.
