Hibernian stand on the brink of history with the opportunity to progress to league-stage European football on Thursday night when we face Gent in front of a sold-out Easter Road. It promises to be a huge night, before that we get the thoughts of Hibs fans.

Hi all

We're back with the phone in tonight, this is where you get the chance to set the agenda on Longbangers and make your points on the podcast.

We're kicking off at 8pm, and we'll be live on Youtube, with the recording available on YouTube (ad-free for subscribers) and as a podcast shortly afterwards.

I'd love to start building up the excitement for a huge game tomorrow night, so it'd be great to have your company either as a participant or a viewer!

Some phone in do's and don'ts:

we use a platform called Riverside.fm, it works best on laptop, but if you are using an iPhone please turn off bluetooth (you can use the phone's speaker and mic rather than AirPods) and turn OFF "stability" in the Riverside app. This should prevent lag.

Please use "mute" when not speaking, it stops the speaker being distracted and gives the best audio experience for our listeners and viewers.

When you join, you'll be asked if you're wearing options - please answer this correctly, it helps prevent echo when you're on.

You'll start "backstage" when you join. This means your audio isn't being recorded but your video IS! When we piece together the recording after the live event finishes, you'll be on screen for the whole time you joined.

It's fine to have your tea or a snack while you wait to come on, just remember that if you're on stage, some folk have a right thing about hearing eating and drinking noises, so the mute button is your friend!

Come on with something to say - make your point and be prepared for folk to agree or disagree, and if and when you do disagree, do so respectfully. Nobody expects you to be an expert (thankfully) but the audience do expect to hear an opinion.

Keep in mind that once this is online, it's online forever. People will see and hear it and so be mindful of what you say. We at Longbangers abhor discrimination and you should be aware that racist, sexist, and homophobic views are not and never will be welcome on the podcast. We are happy for you to take the p**s out of the other teams though, especially Hearts. We encourage it, even.
