New 250 mile Coast to Coast cycle route gets green light in south of Scotland The Coast to Coast route will run from Stranraer in the west to Eyemouth in the east.

End of Stage 4 and the longest stage completed 139 km with over 3800 meters of climbing. Both today and yesterday Paul has ridden to his numbers which has prevented any unecessary waste of energy a great example of what can be done if you ride efficiently. One more stage to go with some horrifically steep sections on the final climb of over 12% for 3 kms. Paul has gained a couple of places and sits tonight 102nd overall and 20th in his age category. Top riding so far, one more day to go my friend!

After 2 stages in the Dolomites and having smashed the Stelvio yesterday Pauls sat in 18th in category and 105 overall. Rode steadier today avoiding any big efforts. TT up a mountain tomorrow! Cracking photo with our kit on!

This week Paul Attiwell is in the Dolomites to complete 5 stages with the first stage a bimble up the Stelvio! Check this link out to see the torture he's going to be putting himself through. Having already smashed the Alps and Marmotte earlier this year he's arriving with confidence and good form.

One of my long standing clients Peter Hookham embarked on his main event for 2022, the Swiss Epic Mountain bike stage race. This started yesterday with Stage One in Arosa, 59 km and 2250 m of climbing, on the road this would be a challenge, riding up goat tracks and descending over 10kms of single track in one go is insane. Todays stage Arosa to Laax is longer and higher, 79 km and 2600m of climbing! When finished today he only has another 3 stages to go! I am following him on the Epic app which is great but stressful!

Busy time for Evo riders this summer. Alanna completed the C2C2C 300km audax in 12hrs which was a fantastic achievement and her main goal for 2022! She managed to fit all of her training around running a very successful and busy Cafe in Northumberland which I had the pleasure to visit earlier this year. Alanna has already decided on her next goal, watch this space.
