Comp Day for our KS ICONS💫

My girls have had the BEST day, and we are one extremely proud team of teachers.

Yes, the dancing was probably the best we’ve ever seen from them. Yes, we brought home so many trophies and medals. And yes, watching all their hard work pay off was amazing.

But the best part of the whole day?

When we gathered together as a dance school, I asked the girls, “What’s the most important thing to do today?”

And in complete unison they shouted…

“TO HAVE FUN!!!”

And that’s exactly what they did.🥹

They danced. They laughed. They hyped each other up. They cheered on every single one of their pals and celebrated each other like every win was their own.

And a special shoutout has to go to our wee “Lexi Lou”, as we call her, who stayed ALL day! Dancing away in her chair and cheering from the sidelines, just to support her friends in the comp team.🥹🖤

I’m proud that they’re mine. Not just because of the trophies, medals or results… but because of the little team they’ve become.

Good dancers, but even better wee humans.

Our Saturdays in the studio just hit different 🖤

A full house from morning to afternoon. After classes it's straight into private lessons. Solos, duos, and acro with all 3 'KS' teachers.

There’s fruit on the table, Starbucks cups everywhere, dancers coming and going, parents popping in and the girls spending half their Saturday here like it’s their second home 🥹

It’s busy, it’s loud, it’s sometimes a little chaotic… but it’s ours.

More than just somewhere they come to dance. A place they genuinely love spending their Saturdays 🖤✨

Our private lesson space is very limited. If you would like a slot please message us soon! Lessons are available to everyone in our school, not just our comp team.

We love watching our Junior girls grow into confident little performers who aren’t afraid to take up space and show exactly who they are.

Safe to say our Tiny & Mini girls were feeling VERY inspired by our KS ICONS yesterday 🥹❤️

I wanted some of our Comp Team to perform at their show for a reason. Three of those girls were once Tiny Dancers themselves - running around with fairy wands, learning their very first steps… and now they’re the ones our youngest dancers are looking up to. Full circle moments like that will never be lost on me.

Today is the first day I’ve properly had a chance to think about what comes next. We’ve been completely consumed by Summer Show madness, and opening everything back up today to see just how many families are currently sitting on our waiting lists is honestly a little overwhelming... in the best possible way.

Every recommendation, every lovely message and every time someone speaks highly of our dance school is helping us grow into something bigger than I ever imagined when I started this.

Our admin team will be working through the waiting lists and will be in touch soon with updates on availability across our classes.

For now, just a huge thank you for keeping us so busy, continuing to believe in what we’re building and, most importantly, trusting us to be part of your child’s dance journey.

Summer Shows complete. Now onto what’s next for KS 🖤💫

Proud is an understatement today. Kruz took on the challenge of leading her first ever show and she smashed it🖤

Our Tiny & Mini Dancer show was a little different this year. After splitting it from our older girls' show, Kruz took the reins and was responsible for making today happen.

These are the classes she pours so much into every week, so watching her lead her first show and see all of that hard work come together was very special.

And of course, Kynli was right there helping every step of the way. Watching the two of them flourish in their roles at KS and become more confident in what they do is one of my favourite parts of growing the school.
How lucky am I that the three of us share the same passion and actually get to call this our job? Even better that we get to do it together🥹🫶🏼

A wild Tuesday morning in the studio as we have the crossover of new kids joining, and some of our Tinys having their last class before heading to nursery next week🥲🫶🏼

A very happy birthday to one of the biggest parts of Team KS, our Kruz!🖤

From teaching so many of our little dancers every week, to being the ultimate hype girl, giving out approximately 738 hugs per shift and bringing plenty of chaos along the way… Coached by KS simply wouldn’t be the same without her.

The kids absolutely adore you, the team couldn’t do without you, and I’m very lucky I get to build all of this with my sis by my side.

Of course, our ICONS had to get involved in the birthday celebrations too... Last night’s job was making Kruz her very own homemade birthday banner ready for her coming into work this morning. Safe to say, it was made with plenty of love🥹

We hope you have the best birthday, Kruz. You deserve it 🫶🏼

Thursday nights are for our ICONS, aka our Comp Team 🖤

Tonight was a mix of learning, levelling up and plenty of sass... standard.

We spent time learning more about safe partner stretching, had lots of Flex & Form wins with FOUR girls moving up a level tonight, and kept putting the work into building stronger, more confident dancers.

The work ethic from this little team is always high, but lately the progress is speaking for itself. Week by week, they’re getting stronger, pushing themselves further and cheering each other on while they do it. And that's what makes us so proud🖤
