As always, Murray gave 100% in training. His attitude and effort were excellent throughout, and it was great to see him taking the key learnings from our drills and putting them into practice during our small-sided games. ⚽️

⚽️ vs Blue Brazil Blues

A right proper battle today between two teams who always seem to put on a good show against each other.

The boys worked incredibly hard for one another from start to finish, with very little separating the two sides. Blue Brazil had the larger share of the goalscoring opportunities, but some dogged defending and excellent goalkeeping from our boys kept them at bay, with the game remaining goalless until the 58th minute.

Plenty of positives to take from the performance, particularly the work rate, togetherness and resilience shown throughout.

Another positive step forward as we continue to find our feet and develop in 9-a-side football. ⚫️⚪️

Well done, boys 👏

Fair Play Card went ot Aidan, who put in a real captains display in defence.

Coaches POTM went to Oscar who was superb, and never put a foot (or hand) wrong.

Aidan earns the nod as captain for this weekend after two very solid performances in training 💪🏻

⚽️ vs Tiki Taka

A good performance from the boys yesterday, especially given we had new players and holiday returnees who hadn’t yet had the chance to play together.

We got off to a strong start with a very dominant first-half performance. The boys were working hard for each other, moving the ball well and really clicking as a team.

We took our foot off the gas a little in the second half, while a much stronger Tiki Taka performance flipped the script slightly and made for a more even contest. Overall though, another really positive display from the boys with plenty to build on.

Looking forward to having everyone back from holiday this week and getting the full squad together to meet their new teammates! ⚽️🤝
