Now it’s time to appreciate our individual winners….

MVP - Ellen Henry (City of Bristol)

Ellen saved her best performances of the tournament for the finals day, in particular the semi final vs Radcliffe where she single handly dragged her team into the final. With Bristol going into the final period 2 goals down, Ellen really stepped up by scoring 5 goals in the period! This brought her tally to an incredible 7 goals in the match. She produced in the final as well, scoring a further 5 goals to help secure the gold medal for her team.

Top Goal Scorer - Issy Rayes (Otter)

Scoring an impressive 26 goals over the tournament, Issy was clinical when her team needed her the most, including a 6 goal haul in the semi final vs Dunfermline to help her team reach the final. Despite being on the wrong side of the result in the final, Issy still managed to net a hattrick. The bulk of her goals however, came during her game vs Menzieshill where she scored an impressive 14 goals! Great job Issy.

Best Goal Keeper - Izzy Taylor (Radcliffe)

Izzy once again showed everyone how good a player she is by claiming back to back best GK awards at the BMC Cup - the first player to ever win this award back to back at our girls event 👏
Izzy was very reliable when called upon and often frustrated attackers with the saves she was making. She was particularly impressive in the Bronze medal match vs Dunfermline where she drove her team on towards the medal with an impressive string of saves. Well done Izzy!
