Farm to Fuel Day ๐พ
What an incredible day at the MacRobert Farming & Rural Skills Centre learning all about where our energy really comes from. Families took part in guided farm tours ๐ฎ, a delicious cook-along using seasonal Scottish produce ๐ฝ๏ธ, and an outdoor activity that got everyone moving ๐โโก๏ธ๐
It was a privilege to share our story โ talking about the role nutrition plays as we prepare to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean ๐
For us, it was all about helping the next generation understand where food comes from and why it matters โ because whether you're rowing an ocean or running around in the garden, the right fuel makes all the difference โก๐ฅฌ
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Farm to Fuel Day, and to Make it Scotch Education for sharing our story.

Meet the only Scottish Female Trio rowing the Atlantic Ocean in December 2026โฆ
Hey, Iโm Lauren! ๐
Iโm a lifelong explorer with a passion for adventure and saying yes to challenges that push me beyond my comfort zone.
Iโm currently based in Scotland, working as a freelance MSK Physiotherapist, but Iโve been incredibly lucky to live abroad, travel the world, and spend years immersed in endurance sports. Whether itโs ultra marathons, multi-pitch climbing, backcountry skiing, or hiking for weeks on end, Iโm always looking for new ways to experience the world and satisfy my curiosity for adventure.
So, when the idea of rowing the Atlantic came along... it somehow felt like the next logical challenge.
For me, this isnโt just about crossing an ocean. Iโm driven by a love of the outdoors and the belief that life begins where your comfort zone ends. Through this journey, I hope to inspire others to dream big, embrace the unknown, and realise you donโt have to wait for the โright timeโ to chase an adventure.
What am I looking forward to most? Switching off from the noise of everyday life, spending weeks completely immersed in nature, and hopefully ticking off every sighting on my Atlantic wildlife bingo card. ๐๐ฌ
Thank you for following along on our Worldโs Toughest Row journey๐ฉต

Meet the only Scottish Female Trio rowing the Atlantic Ocean in December 2026โฆ
Hi, Iโm Ellen ๐๐ป
Keen sailor turned rower, Iโm looking forward to swapping my sails for oars this year and taking on a whole new kind of water-based adventure!
I grew up in East Lothian by the sea and am currently working as a physiotherapist in Dundee in the orthopaedic department and am always on the hunt for a fun new activity, although this may be challenging myself to the extreme...
I am taking on the row because I love being on the water and strongly believe that if you push yourself to try new things and have like-minded people around you, you can achieve far more than you initially think.
I want to inspire others around me to also find new skills, take on new challenges and get more active.
Most excited to row at night under the stars ๐ (and also maybe catch a fish!) ๐
Thank you for following along on our Worldโs Toughest Row journey ๐ฉต
