Hi everyone, we hope you have all managed ok with the challenges we have all faced over the last few months. At last there may be some light on the horizon for us to resume badminton.

Today Nicola Sturgeon announced that gyms, swimming pools and indoor sports courts may be able to reopen from 31st August. As soon as we are able to confirm we have courts available to resume badminton we will let you know so please keep an eye on this page!

In light of recent events regarding Covid-19, and recommendations to restrict gatherings, we, the committee, feel the only option is to cancel Wednesday nights for the foreseeable future. We hope that the closure is only temporary, however, due to the potential severity of the situation we will only do so when government advice suggests the situation is under control. This is not a decision taken lightly and has been done so for the good of members and the wider community. We will update through Facebook when the club nights resume.

Club back on Wednesday night 7.00 -10.00pm. All adults welcome.

D-strings on tour!! Coming to a club near you! In the coming weeks I would like to join your club sessions armed with stencil and some ink, and get moustaches on rackets (for a small donation for the Movember Foundation).

I will be contacting individual clubs anyway but if you think you'd like this at your club, let me know!!

Great to see such a good turnout for our Macmillan cake night - families, players who hadn't been for a while and some newbies. It was a major chore but special thanks to those who ploughed their way through cake during the night and thanks to everyone who donated to Macmillan.
No more cake for a while, but a warm welcome, plenty of badminton and good fun in our swish new venue every Wednesday 7-10 pm.

WE'RE MOVING!
After 30+ years playing badminton at the Lynch Centre, from Wednesday 2nd October, NCR Badminton Club will be at the new Menzieshill Community Hub (260 Dickson Avenue, Dundee DD2 4TQ) Still the same times 7 - 10 pm and still a warm welcome for all adults.
We'll be sad to leave the Lynch after all these years but excited to be moving to such a great new venue. If you haven't been to the club for a while, come along to our last night at the Lynch next Wednesday. If you can't make that, you'll be welcomed at our new venue any Wednesday night from 2nd October.
