The Combined Universities Officers Training Corps Pipe Band took part in this year’s Royal Edinburgh Millitary Tattoo. Bands from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Tayforth UOTC came together to form this years band. This Tattoo marked the 75th Anniversary of the Edinburgh Tattoo.

🥁Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2023🥁
This August, Tayforth officer cadets performed in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo as part of the Combined Scottish UOTC pipes and drums, and what a month they had!
They had the amazing opportunity of playing with pipe bands from around the world as well as from the British Army, and had the chance to get to know officer cadets from other UOTC units.
Over the course of the month, our band members performed for over 200,000 live audience members, and millions via BBC broadcast. It was a unique experience that has helped to advance their playing skills and confidence.
