A Great Day Celebrating Our New Sponsors.

On Wednesday 26 August, we were delighted to welcome our new sponsors to Monifieth Bowling Club for a special photoshoot and a look around our club and facilities.

Our sponsors support the club through advertising business signs displayed along the inside perimeter walls surrounding the green. Their support is invaluable to us and also provides a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to raise their profile within the community.

With around 250 club members, along with visiting bowling teams throughout the season and our programme of social events, our sponsors receive exposure not only at the club but also through our social media platforms, where we regularly share club news, events and activities.

Our President Christine Conneely and Vice President Joyce Gaetcher were delighted to welcome:

Lindsay Darroch, Partner and Head of Office at Gilson Gray, Dundee, representing their TSPC business signage. Gilson Gray, based at 2 West Marketgait, Dundee, is a one-stop destination for legal, property and financial expertise, with experienced estate agents and solicitors providing a wide range of services.

We were also joined by Barry Dewar, from the legal team, and Brodie Yule, from the property team at Connelly Yeoman, both representing their local office in Reform Street, Monifieth. Connelly Yeoman are local estate agents and solicitors providing expert advice across legal and property matters, including buying and selling property.

Representing Centre Stage Property Staging, we welcomed Christine Cook founder of the business, based in Carnoustie.
Centre Stage provides property styling and staging services to homeowners, estate agents, investors and developers, helping prepare and present properties to their very best before going to market.

Our sponsors enjoyed having their photographs taken and we were delighted to show them around our facilities and give them the opportunity to see exactly where their support is making a difference.

What a fantastic Bowling Club BBQ Summer Day!

A brilliant family day filled with fun, laughter, good food and great company. It was wonderful seeing everyone enjoying themselves, especially the youngsters having a go at bowls — and what a fantastic effort they made!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success, including the organisers, catering team, bar staff and everyone behind the scenes. The organisation was excellent from start to finish.

A truly enjoyable family day and a great example of the wonderful community spirit at our bowling club. Well done to everyone involved!

We are expecting high numbers at our BBQ on Sunday and hoping for some nice dry weather! It might be a good idea to bring camping chairs with you to sit on outside so your group can be seated together! 🪑 ☀️

Yesterday our regional Bowls Scotland Development Officer came along to present our Bronze certificate. This will be displayed in the Clubhouse🥉

In the championship final tonight A ding d**g battle which kept the 80 or so spectators on the edge of their seats was won by Stuart Roy 21 - 18 against Andrew Whitton
A game played in great spirits and both players are a credit to our club
