RIP John Virgo. Here he is on the official opening night of Dundee’s No1 cue sports club. The Tivoli. Opened by the late Jim Carroll and wife Margaret, January 1986. Still going strong 40 years later under the watchful eye of Margaret.

February 8th 2026 marks the 40th Anniversary of the opening of the Tivoli by the late Jim Carroll and Margaret Carroll. As a wee celebration of this milestone we are having a party with ‘Gary Barlow’ aka Tony Kay. If you’re a fan of Take That, this is not to be missed. Tickets are very limited so be quick.
