Sign ups are open for our brand new foil competition taking place in Dundee Sports and Active Health Centre on the 29th of June!
Mixed Individual Foil tournament, following a traditional 48r style but with 24 people, 4 rounds of rotating poules with winners crowned after the final poules.
Entry fees are £16 per person, with a bake sale and a fun day of fencing, get your sign ups in now!

Some more important information:
The hall is open from 09:00, and we advise those of you who will be borrowing kit to arrive then to give time to find what you need.
Check in will be held from 09:30-10:00, with the competition kicking off between 10:00-10:30.
There will be time for breaks/lunch, and there are plenty of shops within a 5minute walk of the sports centre for those who need it.
We are aiming to have all DEs finished and prizes given out by 17:00, and have a table booked at our sponsor pub, The Tinsmith from 17:15 for competitors to enjoy socialising over some well-earned food and drink!
Finally, if you have not already paid the entry fee via bank transfer, please remember to bring £5 with you on the day.

Thinking about joining the fencing club this year? Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the sport or a complete beginner, we welcome all abilities! To get a taste of the club, we are running 2 give it a go sessions during our regular training times on the following dates:

Monday 16/09/24, 19:45-21:30 (Studio 1, SpAH)
Thursday 19/09/24, 19:30-21:30 (Hall 1 East, SpAH)

To sign up, either scan the QR code or use the link on our Linktree account (accessible via our instagram bio).

Whilst we'd love to have you all along for both sessions, please note that we advise experienced fencers to attend the Thursday session, as Monday is a smaller venue so we will be prioritising only the basics. When attending any sessions with us we also ask that you remember to wear clothes and shoes you can exercise in, and to bring water!

Lastly, don't worry if you can't make either of the official dates. Training sessions are free to attend for the first few weeks of Semester 1, so pop us a message if you would like to come along for a taster session and we'll fit you in.

After a huge success last year, everyone’s favourite beginner friendly epée competition, DEE-FENCE, is back!! 🤺
