The Dundee Dragons (Dundee 2) returned to a korfball court for the first time in 5 years and managed to do so with 2 wins!!!!

…. And almost certainly setting an unwanted SKL record for at one point having ONE end with a combined age of 228!

Training starts again on Thursday 4th January, 6.30pm at Ardler Community Centre - looking forward to seeing new and old korfers alike 🙌

In September we will be running a beginners month! This means:
- Sessions are free of charge for new players
- Everyone will be taught all the basics necessary to play the game
If you’ve ever wondered “What even is korfball?” then this is the perfect opportunity to find out!

Today we rallied the families and enjoyed a lovely day of korfing at Mavs Mania!
We only lost one game all day and enjoyed working on our tans in the glorious sunshine.

Now we must wave goodbye to the baby siblings as they go off to uni… 💔

Dundee Korfball Club's Junior section opens up for business again this week. New features include:
- Slightly later hall times than previously - sessions now run from 6:00 to 7:00pm - in the main sports hall at the Ardler Complex.
- Four weeks of special beginners' sessions throughout September, free of charge for new players.
- Everyone will be taught all the basics necessary to play the game. If you’ve never heard of korfball before, then this is the perfect opportunity to find out!
- Sessions are suitable for kids aged 8-16 years (siblings as young as 6 are welcome with parental guidance too).
- All you need to bring is a pair of indoor trainers and bottle of water for the drinks breaks - everything else is provided by the club.

Try our new session at Ward Road Gym DD1 1NE from 7-8.30pm on Tuesday nights until the 22nd Aug.
The Ardler session is on as usual, Thursday 6.30-8pm.

Last weekend James and Beth represented Scotland at England Korfball’s Senior Inter-Area tournament. This was a great opportunity to play at a really high level. We had a very fun time, learned lots and secured a solid 11th out of 12
