Our Active Travel team is delighted to be shortlisted for a Scottish Transport Award for the second year in a row!

The hard work of the whole team has meant that we could deliver the following active travel opportunities over the past year:

- 7000 pupils participating in a walking bus
- 1200 pupils trained through Bikeability Scotland
- 100% of Dundee schools completing Bikeability annually (for the past 5 years)
- 266 participants of led rides delivered, helping riders use their on-road skills with confidence
- 108 participants of free school holiday rides delivered across Broughty Ferry, Camperdown and Tayport
- 800 pupils participating in litter picking days

Together, this work helps build confidence, independence and safer everyday journeys for young people, families and communities across Dundee. 🚴‍♀️

Coasteering Guide Award (Age 18yrs+)
The NCC has developed a Coasteering Guide Qualification for those who lead coasteering activities and wish to align with a national standard for training and assessment of coasteering guides.
