Such a good boy out on his first 30km walk today. Lots of water, breaks, sniffing butterflies, and running through heather. Lots of checking in and one spot where he stopped, wanted cuddles, drank loads and then we just sat for a bit together.

Witnessing another charity partner announce it is going under today reminds me why I constantly diversify and seek to adapt what the charity does, enabling us to become a sustainable venture now into our 15th year.

15 years ago, I took a gamble.
I had a mailing list of maybe 40 people, had about two classes a week outside of the gym classes I ran and I thought I was the absolute sh*t.
That was some serious level of delusion! I went looking at wee spaces, classes that could fit maybe 10 max, but for the price I could also get the huge ex-Logie church hall.
With no painting experience, no DIY experience, I took it on anyway, made my business plan, but I knew I wanted to create something that gave back. I wanted to build the community I couldn’t find when I moved to Dundee.
Here we still are, still buzzing after 15 years and with more than 40 people on the mailing list ;)
