Downfield is truly a unique course, it's testing due to the length, water hazards and tricky greens which are incredibly quick currently running at over 10 on the stimp meter (3rd July). The course is truly stunning and has an abundance of wildlife, come and see for yourself and test your ability on one of the finest inland courses in Scotland.

On Sunday 28th June, it was beautiful weather for Finals Day and even the wildlife came out to enjoy the golf.

Some amazing golf played by all the players, a huge thanks to all volunteers for refereeing the matches, Karen Johnstone for taking lots of images on the day and of course, Thank You to all members for coming out to support the players!

This beautiful Great Spotted Woodpecker was spotted making the most of the peaceful surroundings on the course today. Nature is never far away at Downfield, and moments like these are a reminder that golf courses provide an important habitat for local wildlife. 🌳⛳️
