Training is in ISE Studio 1 on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays Konnichiwa (potential) karateka! Kihon, Kata and Kumite (sparring).
DUKC is the largest martial arts club offered at Dundee University, and has both a traditional and competitive outlook to training. Karate is an exciting, fast paced martial art, self-defence and an excellent form of fitness training. 👏 We were delighted to host a joint training session with Dundee University Karate Club tonight at Saints Sport - University of St Andrews.

This Sunday (5th February) we're starting a weekly conditioning class. Using the latest research and advice from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, we'll be covering a wide variety of areas and cater to many different needs. No gi required, just clothes to exercise in! We'll be in ISE Studio 1 from 4-5pm.

Tomorrow is our last free give it a go session for this semester. We're hoping for a bring a buddy session and will be focussing on paired exercises. All you need to bring is clothes to exercise in and water

Our free taster sessions for semester two are coming up! If you're in any way unsure about why to train karate, a small number of many benefits are highlighted on the second slide. All you need is a water bottle and clothes to work out in! Hope to see many new and returning faces! ☺️

Tonight at training we'll be focusing on self defence and takedowns. This class should be a lot of fun but also very useful for real life application! Training is at 19:35-21:00 in ISE studio 1.

Recently at training we've been doing plenty of kata and kihon to give all our new students the fundamentals they need for their very first grading. Exciting stuff!

The last day for matriculating is October the 9th, we will be running our last give it a go sessions this week on Tuesday (7:35-9:00pm) and Saturday (1:00-3:00pm).
