There wasn’t supposed to be another one.

The series finished in July. The mats got washed and tidied away and that seemed like a sensible place to stop.

Then August came around with a quiet Sunday at the end of the month, and it turned out I couldn’t quite let the summer go without one more.

So there’s one more. Sunday 30 August — with a little something extra.

We’ll meet at the studio at nine, straight over the road, an hour on the mat with the sea in front of us. But instead of heading back for breakfast, we’ll come back to the studio, lie down, and Clare will lead a sound bath before we eat.

Then breakfast at the table, exactly as before.

Ten places, with only three remaining. £38 for the whole morning. Book directly from the website Nutrio-studio.co.uk or send us a DM.

You might know what I do. But here’s how I got here. 👇
Nutritional Therapy degree. Sydney. Pilates. Back to university for an MSc in Physiotherapy. Then, in November 2025 — Nutrio.
It wasn’t a straight line. But every step was deliberate, because I kept coming back to the same belief: that physio and movement belong together, in the same space, with the same values.

There is something about moving by the sea that just feels different.
Nutrio’s Salt Air Sessions where we take Pilates out of the studio and onto the shore — small group, proper movement, nothing but open air and the water in front of you.
No equipment. No fuss. Just your body, the breeze, and an hour that’s entirely yours.
Dates:

27 June · 11 July · 25 July
All sessions are in Broughty Ferry. Spaces are limited and with only a few remaining — if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time.
Book at nutrio-studio.co.uk or drop us a message and we’ll get you sorted.

Most women who haven’t tried mat Pilates think it’s the gentler, easier cousin of reformer.

It isn’t. It’s different work.

There’s no spring or pulley helping you — the support comes from your own deep stabilising muscles, the ones that quietly hold your posture together. Building those is what gives you balance, control, and the ability to keep doing the things you want to keep doing.

What makes mat at Nutrio different is what makes any small class different. Eight people. One teacher. The way you move gets watched. The cue you need is the cue you get.

If you’ve been wondering whether mat is for you, this might be the place to start.

Whenever you’re ready, we’re here.

One of the reasons people don't book a class is that they imagine they'll be the only one who doesn't know what they're doing.

They won't be. Most of the bodies in the room have been carrying something for a while — a back that goes, a shoulder that catches, a knee that's never been quite the same. That's the room, not the exception to it.

Six maximum in Studio Pilates (the equipment-based class). Eight maximum on the mat. Small enough that nobody is hiding at the back, and small enough that everything scales to the body that arrived that day.

Intro offer is 3 classes for £45, valid 21 days. No experience needed. Truly.

You don’t need to commit to a full programme or know exactly what you’re doing yet.
You just need one hour.
At Nutrio, the weekly timetable is built around movement that fits your life — not the other way around. Small groups, experienced instructors, and enough variety that you can find your footing and build from there.
Classes running each week:
🔹 Studio Pilates — small-group equipment Pilates (Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Fuse Ladder and more)
🔹 Mat Pilates — no equipment, no experience needed
🔹 Postnatal Pilates — designed to support your recovery from exactly where you are
🔹 Yoga — movement, breath, and a bit of stillness
Each class has clear options so you can work at a pace that feels right for you. Nobody here expects you to be further along than you are.
Save this post for when you’re ready to have a look at the timetable — or drop us a message and we’ll help you find the right fit.
Whenever you’re ready, we’re here. 🤍

Our next Salt Air Sessions - Beach Pilates by Nutrio Saturday 30 May.

Saturday mornings through summer. Pilates on Broughty Ferry beach, then breakfast back at the studio.

We meet at the studio at 10am. Walk down to the sand together. An hour on the mat with the sea and the sky. Then back to the studio for sourdough with local honey, granola with yoghurt and fresh berries, a Form bar, and good coffee.

A small ritual rather than a one-off morning. Twelve places per session.

Sat 30 May. Sat 13 June. Sat 27 June. Sat 11 July. Sat 25 July.

£28 per morning. Drop us a DM if you’d like to come to one, two, or all five.

Whenever you’re ready, we’re here.

If equipment Pilates has been on your “I really should try that” list for months — or years — you’re far from alone.
Almost always, the thing that keeps people out of the studio isn’t time or money. It’s a quiet pile of assumptions about what Pilates is, who it’s for, and whether your body is the right kind of body for it.
So if you’ve been talking yourself out of it for a while — these five hesitations are the ones we hear most. None of them are actually entry requirements.
The honest answer is: you only need to be willing to be a beginner for an hour. To be allowed not to know what you’re doing. To take up a small amount of space in a room that is genuinely happy you’re there.
Whenever you’re ready, we’re here.

Most Saturdays, the morning disappears.

These six are different.

We’re taking Pilates to the beach. Six fortnightly Saturday mornings through May, June and July — meeting at the studio at 10am, walking across Broughty Ferry beach together, an hour on the mat with the sea and the sky, then back to the studio for breakfast. Sourdough with local honey and nut butter. Granola, yoghurt, fresh berries. A Form bar, and good coffee. The kind of morning that gets remembered.

We will be there each time. Numbers stay at twelve so it feels like our usual classes — personal, hosted, a gentle way to challenge yourself.

Single mornings are £28 — book directly through the link in our bio.
Or come for the full series of six for £150 — drop us a DM or email [email protected] and we’ll set you up.

Either way, your summer Saturdays are taken care of.
