If every Monday feels like a struggle, your age and hormones, isn't the problem.
Most people spend the weekend trying to relax and recharge but end up doing the exact opposite.
A few drinks,Later nights.Poorer sleep,Less recovery.
Then Monday rolls around and you're hoping one protein shake can undo 14 pints and a kebab.
For what ?
So you're tired, relying on caffeine, only working out when you can be bothered, and counting down the days until the next weekend.
The harsh reality is that energy isn't just about rest.
It's about recovery.
If your weekends leave you needing a week to recover from them, it's time to rethink what recharging actually looks like.
Getting in shape starts by plugging as many energy leaks as possible.
Maintaining structure building good habits is what actually builds your body.
That's what gives you the energy to show up and perform week after week.
Be honest with yourself do you find yourself tired everytime Monday comes around?
Read this if you're always "starting again."
You can eat well all week.
You can train hard all week.
But if every weekend turns into a "let's eat and drink everything in sight" weekend, you'll feel like you're running on a treadmill forever.
Working hard.
Getting nowhere.
Getting in shape isn't about being perfect all the time. It's about adhering to a plan and staying consistent the majority of the time.
It's about having enough structure that your weekends don't erase your progress.
Be honest with yourself
Do you find fat loss harder on weekdays or weekends?
Who are GLP-1s actually for?
Here’s the honest answer.
They can be a useful tool for people who are significantly overweight, struggle with hunger control, overeat regularly, or have health risks linked to excess body fat.
For some people, lowering appetite gives them enough breathing room to finally start making better choices consistently. That part matters.
But GLP-1s are not the full answer.
They do not teach good nutrition. They do not make you train. They do not improve your sleep. They do not build muscle. They do not fix the habits that created the issue in the first place.
Used with structure, they can support the process.
Used as a shortcut, they usually just delay the real work.
Use tools as tools. Build habits that last.
