The takeaway because you had a s**t day at work.
The couple of pints because the lads were going out.
The Chinese because it’s Friday.
The big breakfast because it’s Saturday.
The snacks at night because you’ve already eaten badly anyway.
Then Monday morning comes…
“Why the f**k has my weight not moved?”
Here’s the problem.
It’s not that you don’t know what to do.
You know you need to eat better.
You know you need to control your portions.
You know you need to move more.
The problem is what happens when you’re tired, stressed, bored or craving something.
That’s when the plan goes out the window.
“F**k it, I’ll start again Monday.”
But fat loss isn’t won on your perfect days.
It’s won in those moments when you really want something, but you choose not to have it.
You need to learn how to say NO.
No to the extra pint.
No to the takeaway you don’t actually need.
No to the voice telling you to keep eating.
Not forever.
Just not this time.
Because the more you practise saying no, the easier it becomes.
And eventually, those decisions that used to feel difficult become normal.
Stop waiting for Monday.
Start winning those small battles today.
DM me “BUILD” if you’re ready to get serious about your fat loss.
Going to the gym is great, but just turning up isn’t enough.
If every set feels easy and you’ve still got loads of reps left, you’re probably not putting enough effort in.
You don’t need to destroy yourself every session.
Put the effort in, train hard and give your body a reason to change.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about losing weight.
It’s about feeling better in yourself, feeling more confident, getting stronger and actually being happy with what you see in the mirror.
You don’t need to go to extremes either. You just need a realistic plan that you can actually stick to.
Taking advice from people who aren’t doing the work can seriously hold you back.
They might question your diet, tell you that you’re doing too much not doing it right whateve , say you don’t need to lose weight, or convince you that what you’re doing won’t work.
And eventually, you start doubting yourself.
Be careful who you take advice from.
Not everyone giving you an opinion has earned the right to influence your goals.

Don’t overcomplicate eating well at work.
Prep it the night before.
Take it with you.
No microwave? Eat it cold.
It doesn’t need to be perfect — it just needs to be easy enough to stick to.
Success in weight loss comes from doing things you can actually repeat.
- Pick a handful of whole foods you enjoy and rotate them when needed to keep things interesting and cover your nutrition.
- Stay consistent with your training and focus on getting stronger over time.
- Keep a structured routine with your meals and sleep.
- Stay active outside the gym too. Aim for 10k+ steps a day and keep moving.
- Enjoy the occasional treat, then get straight back on plan. One meal won't ruin your progress, but letting it turn into three days probably will.
Most importantly, stay consistent, eat to your goals, and adjust when progress slows, eliminate any triggers if necessary.
