MINI NINJA SPACES
After a large number of students moving up to our junior classes the following mini ninja slots (3-6yrs) have opened up:
Monday x3 spaces
Tuesday x1 space
Wednesday x1 space
Thursday x3 spaces
All at the time of 4.00-4.45pm. We look forward to welcoming some new faces ππ»ππ»

Great effort from the students this week working on fitness, strength & technique.
Highlights for the ninjas using weights to get big muscles and for the juniors to use a wedge to generate velocity in their flying side kicks.
One more week of summer timetable then normal class times resume on Monday the 24th.

Just a reminder that our August Summer Timetable commences tomorrow.
Monday:
Comp Team sparring 5.00-6.00pm
(for August open to any student that has sparring gear)
Tuesday:
Boot camp fitness training -
Ninjas 10.00-10.45am
Juniors/Youths/Seniors 11.00am- 12.00pm
(No uniform, sports clothing and a drink)
Wednesday:
Belt/syllabus martial arts training-
Ninjas 10.00-10.45am
Juniors 11.00am-12.00pm
Youth/Seniors 12.10-1.10pm
(Uniform and a drink required)
There is no limit to the amount of classes a student can attend. This runs for three weeks the normal timetable recommences week beginning 24/8/26

On Sunday the Comp Team travelled to the Braehead Arena to compete in the WKU Scottish International Open.
The competition brought teams from as far as Belgium.
These talented individuals done extremely well bringing home:
2 golds
2 silver
3 bronze
Highlighted with Amy in her first tournament earning the two gold medals.

The Juniors, Youths & Seniors have been training hard working on agility, strength, combinations & rotations.
To enhance their progression equipment used was agility ladders, punch bags, paddles, hurdles, steps, medicine balls, hand weights & ab rollers.

Itβs been a busy couple of weeks for weekend camps.
Mini ninjas having dark missions, muscle training, stranger danger & beat the bad guys Easter egg hunts.
Juniors & youths working on core fitness & having a great go at board breaking.

This evening a Dan level grading took place in the dojo.
Unbelievably proud of the five students that were outstanding in their efforts and thoroughly deserved the accolades achieved.
These seniors through many years of training have always been committed, had excellent attendance and through a lot of hard work reached very high levels in technique, strength and fitness.
A true credit to themselves and LDMA ππ»
