Match Result....

Heston got off to a good start when Codie was played through by Ciaran and Codie lobbed it over the keeper. 0-1

Colts soon levelled the game. 1-1

Heston answered straight back from kick off when a good passing move down the level saw Caylan pick up Bruce to score. 1-2

Heston then increased the lead when Cammy scuffed a shot into the path of Codie who turned and finished. 1-3

The hosts were able to pull a goal back before the break. 2-3

HT 2-3

Both sides limiting each others opportunities and plenty of offside calls. Heston were able to add a fourth as Codie headed onto Ciaran who found space and was able to finish from a narrow angle. 2-4

Palmerston Colts now started to push in the game and taking a bit more control were able to pull one back quickly which spurred them on as they showed a clinical edge in the final third in the later stages for a convincing win. 8-4

I don't think the scoreline is a true reflection of the game today but that can be happen in a game of football at times. We wish Palmerston Colts all the best in the next round.
