The boys faced off against Claremont last weekend.
A tightly fought game which saw the boys secure a point in a tough 2-2 draw, going into half time 0-1 down. With well worked goals from Riley in the opening minutes of the second half and another from Struan with 10 minutes to go but a late goal for the visitors from a corner saw the game end even.

Thanks to Iain Sommerville for the great photos.

The boys faced off against top of the table Cambusnethan last weekend.

They played well all over the park, finding the lead with a half volley from Jack before the visitors quickly levelled the score. 1-1.
It was a back and forth game for the remainder and the second goal came from a long throw which fell to Harris who fired it home. 2-1.
The boys held on to the lead well, defending with all of their efforts, including some goal line clearances from Finlay but Cambusnethan managed to find their second and the last of the game. 2-2.

A strong, determined performance against top of the table Cambusnethan, especially in the heat.

Thanks to Iain Sommerville for the great photos.

The boys welcomed Bellshill at the weekend in the league.
After a tight 3-2 loss at the end of January, the boys were hoping to bounce back.

They started strongly, full of energy all over the pitch. The scoring was opened when a freekick from Eli hit the bar and Harry was quick to head in the rebound. 1-0.
Bellshill answered back and brought the score level. 1-1.
Not long after, Struan worked the ball into the box and placed his shot past the keeper. 2-1.
Half time came with the boys comfortable with the scoreline.
The visitors started quickly in the second half and found themselves leading 2-3.
The boys kept the pressure up and a long ball from Finlay worked its way to Callum who placed a high shot over the keeper. 3-3.
The energy was high throughout the team for the last 10 minutes with Struan winning and converting a penalty. 4-3.
The final goal of the game came when Euan slid Riley through who found the net. 5-3.

A brilliant team performance from all the boys!

The boys played their first game back on Maryfield at the weekend against a good Larkhall side.

The game started with both teams battling on the softer playing surface, going back and forth with chances. Unfortunately, it was Larkhall who opened the scoring. 0-1.
The boys kept their efforts up creating some chances of their own, working well up the channels and applying pressure high up the pitch.
It was Larkhall again who found the back of the net and extended their lead. 0-2.
Despite the scoreline, the boys showed determination, creating a number of chances in the second half, defending well and having a number of corners but couldn't find the net and the full time whistle went.

FT 0-2.

Many thanks to Iain Sommerville for the photos of the game.
