🌟 Celebrating Our Young Leaders! 🌟

Congratulations to Olivia, who has now achieved her 50-hour Saltire Award! 💙👏

Volunteering is about so much more than giving your time. It builds confidence, develops communication and leadership skills, encourages responsibility and creates positive role models for younger gymnasts.

Through her role as a young leader, Olivia demonstrates the values at the heart of our club: kindness, teamwork, commitment, respect and community spirit. Her support helps our younger gymnasts feel welcomed, encouraged and inspired, while giving her valuable skills and experiences for the future.

We’re incredibly proud to see Olivia reaching this milestone and flourishing as one of our young leaders. Thank you for making such a positive difference within our club!

🎉 RECCY CHALLENGE CUP 2026! 🏆🤸‍♀️

For the first time ever, it will be held at our Lochmaben satellite venue! 🎊

📍 Venue: Lochmaben Community Centre

Here’s everything you need to know:

🤸 Open to: All recreational gymnasts, boys beginner and intermediate reccy from our Dumfries, Annan and Lochmaben facilities.

🎉 This will be a relaxed, fun competition, with the emphasis on participation, confidence and enjoyment for everyone taking part in our Reccy4All programme.

💪 Entry is optional — gymnasts will be practising their routines over the next few weeks, and these will be sent home with them to practise.

🏅 Gymnasts will perform one floor routine and two vaults in front of our judges.

🎨 Number Competition: There will be prizes up for grabs! Gymnasts will decorate their competition number, with the judges selecting the best decorated number at random. The theme will be announced shortly, and gymnasts will receive their number once the programme has been made.

⏰ Time slots: Once the programme has been finalised, you’ll receive your gymnast’s allocated time slot. This will include their competition time and presentation time, so you won’t need to be there all day.

👕 What to wear: Gymnasts can wear any leotard of their choice or suitable gymnastics clothing, such as shorts and a T-shirt.

🚫 Jewellery: No jewellery should be worn when competing.

🎀 Hair should be tied back.

📜 Every gymnast will receive a competition certificate at the end of their competition.

🍬 Tuck Shop: Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase throughout the day.

🎟️ Tombola: We will also be holding a tombola and would really appreciate any donations being handed in at the club. Every donation is greatly appreciated! 💛

💷 ENTRY FEES

👨‍👩‍👧 Spectators: £4.00 — payable at the door
👶 OAPs/Children: £2.00 — payable at the door

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ HOME EDUCATION ACTIVE MOVEMENT SESSION! 🤸‍♀️✨

We’ve had such a fantastic response to our Home Education Active Movement Sessions that we’ve decided to hold a FREE taster session! 🎉

Come along and let your child try out a fun mix of movement activities, games, circuits and equipment in a relaxed and supportive environment — while parents get the chance to have a chat with our coaches. 💬😊

This will give our coaches the opportunity to get to know each child, learn about their interests and help us work out what type of sessions will best support their enjoyment, confidence and development. 💜
