Yesterday, Erin, had a brilliant day at the North East Expo Spring 2026. It was lovely to meet so many organisations, catch up with familiar faces and speak with businesses who are on similar journeys to us.
A big thank you to Your Man With A Van for the insightful seminar on how disruption powers business, and to the Reputation King for sharing some great tips on GEO and how businesses can adapt in a changing digital world.
It was also fantastic to hear about the amazing challenge being taken on by Eddie McGourley and Stephen Foster, who will be cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats from 29th June to 8th July in aid of Durham 2032 Festival and St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
Their goal is to become the fastest pensioners to complete the 1,000-mile journey, which was especially lovely for us to hear about, as Team G are virtually walking the same route as many times as possible throughout 2026 as part of our own wellbeing challenge.
A great day of networking, learning, fresh ideas and inspiring conversations.

At KMF, safety isn’t just theory, it’s real-world experience. The kind that comes from guiding on serious peaks, handling changing conditions, and knowing when to push on… or pull back.
Big thanks to Genesis OHS for supporting KMF behind the scenes. It’s a huge part of making the festival what it is

Before the first runner sets off…
Before the first note plays…
There’s a whole other side to KMF.
Planning. Walking routes. Stress-testing every scenario.
Keeping thousands of people safe across mountains, lakes, trails, and festival spaces isn’t simple, and it’s not something we take lightly.
With support from Genesis OHS, who help us make the right calls, so you can focus on the adventure.
