Cairn Cup 2024
After playing 3 round robin game to qualify, we won the final against Dumfries CC. We’d like to thank the teams playing who made it a good competition, as well as Cairn CC, who have kept the event running.

ASHAM U21s Slam Lockerbie
This is our only U21s this season, and we are happy the with the outcome. Two wins against teams Stewart and Grant placed us halfway up the table, but our losses to team Thomson and team Brewster stopped us from qualifying for the semis tomorrow.

Today and tomorrow we are playing in the Perth U17s Asham Slam. We have 3 more group games to qualify for for the knockout stage, after a win this morning.

After struggling to perform on our first day we had some tight qualification games. One win and two draws placed us second in our section, qualifying us for the low road.
Today we won both our semi-final and final, winning us the low road.

Greenacres Asham U17s Slam
Our last group game resulted in a win, putting us through to the high road. We then had a tough semifinal against Team Soutar, which we lost, putting us against Team Scanstone. After struggling in the first half, we managed to pull through, placing us third in the high road.

Hamilton Asham U17s Slam
We finished the group stage with two more wins, and a loss to Team Soutar. This qualified us for the low road, where we played against Team Whyte for a place in the low road final. A success here put us through to the low road final against Team Rutherford. Unfortunately, after a good performance from Rutherford we lost, placing us 2nd in the low road.

End of Lockerbie U17s!
Once winning against Team Whyte in the Semi Finals, we had a great game against Team Brewster in the finals, managing to get the victory and take home the competition victory.
We'd like to take this chance to thank all of the staff at the rink, who provided food through the cafe between games, drinks at the bar, supervision of the games as umpires, and great ice to play on. The teams present made for some great games and a thoroughly enjoyable competition for all.
