Adam and Mark are gearing up to smash a 100km ride from Salford to Blackpool on Sunday 12th July not for glory, but for our community!

Stalybridge Cricket Club has finally secured planning permission for our long‑awaited mixed‑use changing facilities a project that will transform the experience for our juniors, senior teams and our ladies, both home and away players and every future player who deserves a place to belong.

Now comes the hard part - building it!

Time to concentrate on cricket again and moan about the weather 🌍

A different kind of team night… and exactly what we all needed.

With no fixture for our Ladies teams tonight, we swapped cricket bats for calm and enjoyed an incredible sound bath on the wicket, led by our amazing 2nd Team Captain, Dan from Oceansage Therapies. 🌿✨🌊

As women balancing full-time jobs, families, parenting, and the everyday pressures of life, it isn’t always easy to find the time to simply stop, breathe, and recharge. Tonight gave us exactly that, and it was so appreciated by everyone who came along.

Sound baths are a wonderful way to promote relaxation and wellbeing, helping to reduce stress, quiet the mind, improve sleep, ease tension, and leave you feeling refreshed and rebalanced. It was the perfect opportunity to reset, reconnect, and take care of ourselves together as a team.

The evening was rounded off with a delicious buffet, drinks, and plenty of laughs as we enjoyed spending quality time together away from the cricket field.

A huge thank you to our fantastic captain, Dan, for sharing your time, talent, and passion with us. We all left feeling calmer, happier, and more connected.

Stalybridge CC Beat Shaw CC by 17 Runs

Stalybridge CC claimed a deserved 17-run victory over Shaw CC with a strong all-round team performance.

H Akhtar top scored with 17, while A Mistry added 16 and N Dyball 11 and G Surch 12 finished the innings well.

With the ball, R Mistry was outstanding, taking 1 wicket for just 1 run from 2 overs, while N Dyball, A Mistry, J Jojan and G Surch also claimed a wicket each.

A disciplined bowling display ensured Stalybridge defended their total to secure a well-earned win.

Well done to everyone tonight… our juniors are making Stalybridge CC proud
