Lauren's INCREDIBLE change 😍πŸ”₯🦈❀️

Looking at these two photos most people will notice the physical transformation.

And don't get me wrong that IS incredible - Lauren has lost over 3 stone with her time in Platform and put on some serious muscle.

But that's not what stands out to me.

The first photo was taken after one of her very first sessions at Platform 7 years ago.

The second was taken at the finish line of Deadly Dozen a week ago.

Yes, she's fitter.
Yes, she's stronger.

But that's not what stands out.

What stands out is the smile, the happiness.

Her confidence and energy.

You can feel it through the photo.

You can see the willingness to take on something she probably wouldn't even have considered when that first photo was taken.

That's why I love coaching.

Weight loss is brilliant.
Muscle gain is brilliant.

But the real transformation is watching somebody become a completely different version of themselves.

That's something the scales could never measure.

And it's a skill they own for the rest of their lives, it will return more than literally investing in anything else.

That skill is not something that can happen on its own.

It needs coaching, community, accountability and support.

Lauren has had that,and her transformation has been total.

I couldn't be prouder than watching the journey she's been on this last 7 years.

Last week we had a visitor...

And If you have followed Platform long enough you'll remember this man

Mr ❀️

Dan came to us as an intern, fresh out of Uni in 2019 - starting with our 8 week internship program he moved into the team as a junior coach, full coach and a brief stint as head coach before he emigrated to Australia in 2022

Dan was a huge part of helping Platform into what it is today

He could be found teaching you the macarena on the Gym Floor

Blasting Disney Soundtracks

Standing on the prowler telling you to go faster...

Or all 3 at the same time 🀣

He was a ridiculous amount of fun in the team and we were buzzing for him to pop in and see us on his trip back to the UK

I'm sure many of you will have fond memories of Danny reading this - would love to hear some of your favourites in the comments

But here's to you Mr Woodhead, and in your words "f**k em" 🀣❀️🦈

These photo's are everything Platform is about ❀️

28 members throwing themselves into one ridiculous challenge

Such a diversity of people

Different ages, different fitness levels, different reasons for starting.

But every single one crossed the finish line and finished the day proud

To us in Platform THIS is what coaching is all about

It's not about creating elite athletes it's about helping ordinary people do things they never thought they were capable of

We are very proud of every single one of you 🦈❀️

The community yesterday was something else - we had those who took part cheering for each other, another 10-15 who just turned up to cheer the Sharks on 🦈

Those who finished early stayed to the end to cheer everyone else on

It was just a f**king special day for the whole community

And it's exactly why we love this place and this community ❀️🦈
