I'll be open and honest about my struggles as I always have been.
Today was one of those days where all the plates spinning crashed.
I didn't know what was going on.
I didn't know what was happening in my head.
I just cried and went into my little tism that happens when I feel this way.
Life has a lot of moving parts as we know, and sometimes to many moving parts moving to quickly causes overload, overhelm, chaos, shut down, whichever way you want to look at it.
Sometimes it can't be helped and we just need to let it out, and personally I think that's all I needed this morning.
Reflecting now I should have known something was inbound. I've been distant and snappy, but still just plodded on.
And that is something a lot of us are guilty of - especially men!
I'll be the first to put my hand up and say I'd rather help someone than myself, but lads, we really need to be more aware of our own mental state and our triggers - me included (I'm not saying I've nailed this at all).
We need to remember that just because June is coming to an end, we still focus on men's mental health 🖤
We still support each other 👊🏼
This isn't a cry for help, I have my support network, and I'll be honest, I need to use it more and I do need to do more, not just to help me, but it helps my family.
Easier said than done but try your hardest to look at the bigger picture, try zoom out instead on hone in.
If I can help, I will.
Lads - look out for each other.
Most importantly - look out for yourself and your triggers. Don't let it get to far or lets the plates crash.
But also remember, it's oki to let it out.
