Driffield Golf Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club where membership is open to everyone - experienced golfers and beginners alike and visitors are most welcome. Considered to be East Yorkshire’s finest parkland layout, the course forms part of the natural landscape of the Sunderlandwick Estate and the chalk-based trout stream that runs through the course is a particular feature. At just over 6

,200 yards and predominantly flat with gentle undulations, the course is not physically demanding. However, tree-lined fairways , ponds and streams all demand accuracy and the course provides a true test for any golfer. The club has a well stocked golf shop and lessons can be booked with the PGA Professional. After your round, you may relax in the spacious lounge bar overlooking the course. The club catering service provides a wide choice of food from bar snacks to formal dinners and the dining room, which seats 60, can be extended into the lounge for larger functions. The club lies just to the south of Driffield off the A164 and is easily accessible from Hull, Beverley, York and the coastal resorts of East Yorkshire.

Wow, what day yesterday!!
We had an early start, serving
18-hole Breakfasts, for a visiting party, followed by Beef Bourguignon, fondant potatoes, green beans & carrots for our Seniors v Brough, then complete re-arrangement of the dining room & clubhouse, to serve MWF Group,
Our Fairways Steak pie & chips, and straight after in the Dining room, we served, mushroom or tomato soup, to start, Roast Beef or Chicken Dinner, and a dessert of sticky toffee pudding or cheesecake, for our President’s Dinner, (everyone looked magnificent!! )
Huge thank you to everyone that helped, from veg prep, furniture moving, pot wash , members, visitors, diners, bar staff, waiting staff & all the wonderful feedback we received!! Very grateful to work alongside some fabulous people!!

East Yorkshire’s finest parkland course. 🌳⛳

Set within the beautiful Sunderlandwick Estate, our 18-hole parkland course has been challenging and welcoming golfers of all abilities since 1923. Native trees, ponds and a trout stream wind through the grounds, with our par-5 11th — 487 yards, guarded by three ponds and a stream — standing out as the signature test on the card.

🚴 Tour of Britain 2026 – Travel Advice 🚴

A reminder that Stage 3 of the Tour of Britain passes through the East Riding on Friday 4th September.

Despite the route passing to the north of Driffield,and not too close to the club itself, road closures and delays are expected throughout the day.

If you’re playing, visiting or attending an event at the club, please allow extra travel time and set off earlier than usual to avoid disruption.
