We’re nearly there… our League Cup Final is Friday the 4th September.🏆⚽️

Before the big day, we’re asking everyone for one last bit of support as we hold our final fundraiser with a min of the goal for the final.
Tickets are at random in envelopes at a £5er a number, 1st goal winning number recieves £200 and 2nd goal scoring min recieves £50.

Every ticket, donation and bit of support means so much to the team. We’ve come this far together, and now we’d love to finish the fundraising with one final push! 🙌

The ladies travelled to rathfriland to play last game of season and second game of the week the ladies arrived with only 11 players and a determination to finish the league on a high!

It took the ladies 7mins to get by a strong rathfriland side before cora slotted one home for team! Jane followed it up scoring 3 goals within 10mins going into half time 4-0up!

Second half kicks off and Jane made it 5-0 within 20mins gross were down to 10 ladies when Neisha received a bad tackle having to come off with bad knock to her ankle! But that didn’t stop the ladies from creating more chances and opportunities to get more goals! SJ made it 6-0 with a superb strike from outside the box before Jane scored her 5th of the game making it 7-0 before rathfriland got a consolation goal making it 7-1

Player of the match went to Abbie she had an outstanding game in defence!

Took the gross ladies a few mins to settle in before Jane striked on the 11th min to settle the nerves from the home side! She followed one in exactly 11mins later making it 2-0 followed by another 2 on the 41st and 43rd min! Terrilouise made it 5-0 at the stroke of half time with a tap in at the back post!

Second half Jane made it 6-0 on 55th min and Cora came on to make it 7-0 with a great strike!

Player of the match went to Kathryn Hogg who had an outstanding game she tortured there wingers and defence line all game!

Last night the girls travelled away to shorts!

Ballynagross ladies 9 v Shorts Ladies 0

The girls took a few minutes to get settled in before Jane stepped up on 6th minute putting the girls in the lead! The girls had a number of goals on target with a solid performance from shorts keeper tried to keep her team in the game! SJ won a corner and crossed the ball into the box and Neisha rose of the ground with a fantastic header on 31st min finding the back of the net! Kathryn and cora threatened their defence flying up and down the wing making sure plenty of balls were getting into the box! Up stepped corner from Jane with another great header from Cora on 34th min and then Jane slotted in her second of the game with a great strike on 41st minute making it 4-0 half time!

Second half kicks of and Jane strikes again making it 5-0 on 51st min and again on the 61st min making it 6-0. Up steps SJ who tormented the defence and midfield all night finally found the back of the net with a superb finish putting the girls 7-0 up on the 73rd min and kept plugging away to recieve her second of the game on 81st min making it 8-0 and Jane made it 9-0 on 82nd min securing the girls 9-0 win away from home!

The ladies are going to run a supporters bus for the final on Friday the 4th September. Bus will be leaving the town roughly 6pm if anyone is interested could you message Janee Macc Clarissa Murphy or the page, need numbers before Monday 17th so we can get it booked and work out price🙂
