What a performance!

From the very first throw-in, the determination was there. Every ball was contested, every breaking ball chased and, despite the damp and slippery conditions, our boys refused to let the intensity drop.

Then the football started to flow.

Balls were won, passed, recycled and moved quickly up the pitch. Goals, points and some absolutely brilliant passages of team football followed. A determined Carryduff side fought hard and made the boys work for everything, but our lads kept working, kept moving and kept playing for one another. The scores kept coming from start to finish, with an impressive scoreline reflecting the relentless effort they put in.

But today was about much more than a scoreline.

Today the boys got a glimpse of just how good they can be. Gaelic football will always produce moments of individual brilliance, but today showed them something much more important: when they work hard, trust each other and play as a team, they can compete with anyone.

The hours on the training pitch are paying off. The fitness work, the skills, the tracking, the chasing, the effort and the determination were all there to see today.

Well done, lads. You did yourselves, your families, your coaches and your club incredibly proud.

Keep working. Keep improving. Keep believing.

This team is starting to realise what it is capable of.

The Shamrocks continued their fantastic run with another brilliant win over previously unbeaten Carryduff, making it an incredible 7 wins from 7! 👏🔥

A narrow defeat for The Harps against Clonduff, but a fantastic effort from every single girl. The girls worked hard right until the final whistle and should be very proud of their performance. 💪👏

A great day of football, plenty of craic and, judging by the photos, there’s still a bit of football left in the legs! 😂👏
