IT'S FIXTURES WEEKEND!!!

This Sunday our U14s and U12s have their first friendly fixture of the season and a chance to put our practice into play. For some of our players this is their first ever fixture and we are incredibly proud of how much the players have grown in such little time.

Our U14 Great Whites take on Ashford & Gravesend in a 3 way fixture and our U12 Hammerheads take on Ashford, with both fixtures held at Ashford RFC.

So come along and cheer on the girls. Let's go Pink Sock Army!!

What an incredible 1st training session of the "official" season we had last Sunday. The new season is a busy one with both our U12 Hammerheads and our U14 Great Whites entered into their first Kent waterfall competitions so all our players are working hard to cover all skills that will be required of them, with an introduction to contact completed for U10 as well. This season looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and if the initial work rate shown by these players is anything to go by, it's going to be a season of incredible development.

If you're interested in getting involved then please come along to the sessions this Sunday. No experience needed, just a smile and a lot of energy (but we'd probably recommend a pair of boots and a gumshield just to be safe though 😂)

Last night we held our first ever Game Day Plaits session at Dover RFC. It was a chance for parents and players to come together for a social event but also for some of the parents to learn a new skill that most had never really had a go at.

It was a very successful night with some real developments in styling ability achieved. There were a lot of smiles, laughs, proud Dad faces and the odd wince of pain from the hair models 🫣, but more importantly it brought the pink sock army family that little bit closer.

We will be looking to hold another event to tackle the more advanced styles so keep an eye out for future announcements.

New season training times are out!!!

Starting the 6th September, the girls season officially begins!!!

So if any girls in school years 4-9 are interested in getting involved, come along to the relevant session.

No experience necessary. If you're up for a fun time and experiencing a new sport with an amazing bunch of girls, then this is the place for you.

The pink sock army awaits all its new recruits!

This Sunday we will be taking part in the Dover Carnival (starting from 1600). So get yourself down to Dover town to enjoy the carnival, show some support and grab one of the leaflets or stickers the girls will be handing out.

The leaflets include all the information you'll need to get involved and become one of the pink sock army.

There may or may not be coaches dressed in inflatable shark costumes 🦈🤷🏻

Last Sunday we started going over the various aspects of the game, from ball presentation, to rucking to body positioning in scrums. Lots of new girls this season so it was great to see the determination in learning these new skills.

This Sunday the girls will be putting the work in during a rugby fitness session.

If you're interested in getting involved come along to the shark tank, 1000-1130. It's a great opportunity to meet new friends, try something new and have a lot of fun.
